Camas Real Estate
Situated on the Columbia River, in the last two decades Camas has grown from a mill town to one of Clark County’s most desirable areas to live. Camas is perhaps best known for excellent schools and a great system of parks and trails.
Camas’ southwest corner is dominated by Prune Hill, which provides incredible vistas of Portland, the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, and sweeping territorial ridges. Camas’ location on Highway 14 provides easy access to the Portland International Airport. It’s a quicker drive to PDX from Camas than from most of Portland!
The downtown area is host to many boutique shops, bars, and restaurants, but perhaps none is more iconic than the Classic Liberty Theater. The theater plays a mixed of new releases, and well and classic and indie films.
Camas also provides great opportunity for nature hikes right within the city limits. The Lacamas Heritage Trail and Round Lake series of trails provide more than six miles of hiking from nearly one side of the city limits to the other.
In the last ten years, Camas has seen increased growth along its western border with the City of Vancouver that has brought a new Costco, several new restaurants and hotels, as well as new corporate headquarters including Fisher Investments and Holland Partners Development Group.
